The Greater San Francisco Ad Club has announced the
2005/06 SF Bay Area ADDY Awards Call-for-Entries.
The competition is open to any Bay Area creator or collaborator of work from
dozens of categories, including internet, print, out-of-doors, web site, B
to B, radio, t.v., music, logo and much more. Complete rules, including a
full listing of categories can be found at the Ad Club website at
www.gsfadclub.org.
The ADDYS are one of the nation's most comprehensive awards programs.
Entries are judged on a 1 to 100 point system. You compete against a
standard of excellence and creativity, and not against each other. It is
possible for the judging to produce 2 or more gold award winners from a
single category.
ADDYS deadline for submissions: January 19, 2006
ADDYS late deadline (subject to late fee penalty) February 1, 2006

Riney on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 from 6:00pm - 8:30pm.
Gourmet treats by Red Robin Catering. Complimentary
libations courtesy of Giovanni -- The Margarita King; Henry
Weinhard's; and Lagunitas Brewery. Encore performances by
Scot Nery -- the Pancake Juggler, Paul Nathan Magic, and
surprise guests courtesy of Unusual Productions.
You'll see winning entries and presentations from 2005 Best
of Show winner Publicis & Hal Riney plus Best of Division
winners BBDO West; COG1; Compass; DDB San Francisco;
McCann-Erickson; Traction; and Venables, Bell & Partners.
Admission is free for GSF Ad Club members. Individual
memberships allow 2 guests free. Corporate memberships allow
6 guests free. Additional guests and non-members are being
asked for a $25 donation per person. Reservations and ticket purchases can

The ADDY Awards presentation and Gala will be held March 23, 2006 at the
Grand Hyatt. Details and reservations will be available after the new year.
The Student ADDY Awards presentation will be March 4th (Saturday) at
Polarity Post at 69 Green Street. Please make plans to honor the next
generation of Creatives. Winning work will also be available for viewing at
Polarity Post during regular business hours from March 4th through the 10th.
Details will also be available at the club web site soon.
The deadline for Student ADDY submissions is March 9, 2006 Students may be
full or part-time enrolled in an accredited institution. Student ADDY rules
may also be found at www.gsfadclub.org
